Clinical Toxicological Analytics

The Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology section evolved from the Clinical Toxicology working group. It deals with strategies, methods, and organization of clinical toxicological analytics. The section has organized numerous meetings at Banz Monastery as well as the mini-symposium ‘Update Clinical Toxicology: Clinic and Laboratory’.

Concept for the Section’s Work:

Although the topics of TDM and toxicology already occupy significant space in the continuing education catalog for clinical chemists and laboratory medicine specialists, these topics have been relatively underrepresented within the DGKL so far. The section aims to create a space for intensive collaboration, exchange, and broadening of interest in these topics within the DGKL.
