The Scherer Medal is awarded to experts who have distinguished themselves through their outstanding achievements in science and the promotion of Clinical Chemistry. This special recognition is awarded by the DGKL Presidium and is named after the renowned Court Counselor Professor Dr. Johann Joseph von Scherer (1814-1869), who is considered a pioneer in the field of Clinical Chemistry.<\/p>\n
